Hi, joined the group a while ago but didn't introduce self. Work for www.SystemsEngineeringJobs.com, it's a new site and I'm keen to learn from more experienced job boarders. Start off by asking if anyone currently uses ad-sharing software like Broadbean / Idibu, and how you have got on with it?

Hi!

I was curious and dropped by to ask if you guys (talking to owners) have multiple niche boards or if you focus in one/some, and what you could say about your experience.

Other than that, I agree with Niall below about the difficulties of being the underdogs in most cases. There is so much the group of people here could learn from each other and without stepping on each other's toes that I am surprised with the silence.

Come on people!

With the explosive growth of the net and the vast amount of info, coupled with the demise of traditional media, the only way is niche in my opinion but.....

we are the small guys who dont have the marketing spend to attract the visitors so its just going to be a long uphill battle where we have to keep thinking smarter, more focussed/niche and offer quality service to discerning employers and recruiters.

Good to be here...lot of challenges ahead for all of us. But the web is growing and we are in a better situation than those who haven't migrated fully to the web.
