It's been a while!

It's been a while since I have updated my status on this site for my job board Sustainable Energy Jobs. A lot has happened over the last year and has changed the way in which I am approaching my job board business. I have incorporated more into my site then just job postings!

As Social Media has really taken on a more dominate role in the marketplace, I find it changed my perception as to how I think job boards can succeed and thrive in the future.

Using Twitter to push jobs

While at the ERE in San Diego this past week I discovered Twitter. I had heard about it before and even took a brief look at what's going on there but never thought of using it as a way to promote my job board postings. Until I saw a job board feeding it's RSS feed through a service called TwitterFeed.

Hi, I think I managed to set up a couple of feeds. I have set them to update every 24 hours so I will wait and see tomorrow if they have been added successfully.
