Job Boarders

I spend the first 45 minutes of every day reading blogs and forum. It's healthy to read lots of different viewpoints and have a good picture of what's happening around us. But, it's also easy to learn the wrong things from the "experts". Years ago (7 yrs?), there seem to be a consensus that reciprocal links no longer worked.

As a result, we abandoned the practice. The real lesson we should have learned was this -- reciprocal links became less effective, but so what? They were still a valuable tool. In reality, everything has become less effective than it was back in the salad days. So in fact, relative to all the other choices we have, reciprocal linking should have held its relative priority for us in the lineup of marketing tools.

We are getting back in the reciprocal linking business - you can read more about that here.

Has reciprocal linking worked for you? Have you ever taken SEO advice you later regretted?

I agree. First thing in the morning, while drinking coffee, is I hit the blogs and forums related to your website. I try to comment with relevant information on all my posts. The quality of visitor is just so much better than the one you paid google for. Not to mention the traffic from one link on a reply post can trickle in for months.

Reciprocal linking with relevant site at the appropriate pages and places has always been a sensible off page SEO practice and Google Page Rank enhancer.

I think, rather than getting reciprocal links one should get one-way links. One-way links will be more important then reciprocal links.
I, personally don't indulge myself in reciprocal links for any of my website.
Anyways, Congratulations for restarting your business... Hope you will reach success...
